 is a professor whose clinical specialties are maternal/newborn and women’s health care. Currently, she is serving as the Dean of the College of Professional Studies. She obtained her M.S.N. at the University of Illinois, and completed her doctorate in nursing at Case Western Reserve University. Her primary research interest is the health effect of body art, particularly intimate body piercing. Dr. Caliendo has published numerous nursing research articles on that subject.
